myDW integrates Digital Watchdog's solutions onto a single platform for seamless real-time system management. You can monitor the status of your Digital Watchdog equipment, receive email notifications and DW Mobile+ application push notifications for reports, events, and abnormal hardware issues, and schedule system status reports that are delivered via email.
myDW provides real-time system health monitoring information that allows System Administrators to diagnose, plan, and manage system issues. For example, myDW provides notifications when devices are not connecting to the Internet, video is not saved, and a camera is missing are a few of the many examples. myDW system report provides preventative maintenance information. Equipment issues and server storage availability are identified early so that organizations can plan and schedule system maintenance.

myDW is a cloud-based monitoring service, managed by Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and accessed by their customers to gain valuable at-a-glance and real-time status of their DW surveillance systems. Users can share clips, track changes to the camera's scenes with CVV, and manage users and access to their systems remotely.
Yes, you can use your myDW account login information with the DW Mobile+ application.
If you are an end user, please reach out to your system administrator, installer or integrator. They can open an organization for your business and set you up with a user and monitoring plan.
If you are an installer or integrator, get started by becoming a DW CPP member. Already a member? Become a DW MSP by filling out the form in the link below: https://digital-watchdog.com/msp-contact-form/. myDW subscriptions are sold by the number of devices (1, 4, 8, 16, 24 or 48 devices) and the period of time (1 or 3 years). Once the subscription is purchased, your Managed Service Provider (MSP) will open a myDW organization for you, where you can activate a subscription and add it to your devices.
Yes, it is recommended that you get a subscription for each of the devices in your organization.
Adding, removing, or updating subscriptions is easy and instant. Contact your Managed Service Provider (MSP) to update existing subscriptions or add new services. If you already have active subscriptions and wish to purchase additional subscriptions, the existing and new subscriptions will be adjusted to have a unified expiration date. This process is known as co-term.
Co-term, or co-termination, refers to adjusting the subscription term by combining existing and new subscriptions with one expiration date, regardless of the purchase date.
This also means that if an account has multiple subscriptions taken out at different times, they are bundled together to share the same renewal or co-term renewal date, rather than all subscriptions being due for renewal at various times.
Co-term simplifies the subscription renewal process and billing cycle and makes it more efficient. Co-terming reduces the risk of subscriptions expiring unknowingly, which can impact daily operations and prevent you from accessing your data. Co-terming converts all subscriptions into a single contract, saving administrative resources, time and effort.
Regardless of how many subscriptions were applied or when they were applied, the subscription expiration date for all subscriptions will be the same. This is accomplished by averaging all active subscriptions and dividing by the organization's device count.
The co-termination date is a weighted average of the licenses purchased and claimed by your organization.
Example A (multiple subscriptions purchased on the same date):
An organization had two separate myDW subscriptions, one for 2x single device subscriptions spanning one year (12 months) and another for 1x single device subscription spanning five years (60 months). The co-termination value would be calculated as ((60*1)+(12*2))/3= 28 months total for all three subscriptions. So, assuming all three licenses were applied on the same day, the organization would have a co-term date of 28 months from the start date of the licenses.
Example B (multiple subscriptions purchased on different dates):
If the subscriptions were not applied simultaneously, for example, if the five-year subscription was applied halfway through the one-year subscription, the co-term calculation would take that into effect. In this case, the calculation would be ((60*1)+(6*2))/3=24 months total for all three subscriptions.
The co-termination date of the subscriptions depends on the current device count. Subscription activation keys can be modified based on duration and number of devices. Adding devices would shorten the co-termination date.
No. Subscriptions are fully transferrable between devices and are locked in only by expiration.
DW sells 1 and 3-year subscriptions. When you add a subscription to an organization with an existing subscription, the co-term date is recalculated to a single termination date for all your subscriptions.
Days. Once the exact expiration time is computed, the subscription expires on the nearest day and is enforced at midnight local time.
Subscriptions are considered active and consume time from when they were activated in myDW, not when they were purchased.
It is recommended that subscriptions be renewed automatically. This can be established through your myDW MSP tools. A subscription will go into a "suspended" grace period if not renewed. During the grace period, alerts, video share, and CVV will all be disabled.
A subscription can be changed back to "Active" by purchasing new subscriptions. Renewing expired subscriptions is not possible at this time.

myDW supports the following Digital Watchdog solutions:
myDW™ 1.0 is transitioning to myDW™ 2.0. myDW™ 1.0 will no longer be accessible at any user level after October 1, 2024.
As an installer, you will no longer have access to your systems and customers' systems in myDW™ 1.0 after October 1, 2024. As an installer, you will need to register for a new account in myDW™ 2.0. As an installer, you will need to register all your devices and invite your customers to myDW™ 2.0.
While support is shutting down for myDW™ 1.0 as we migrate to the new myDW™ 2.0, you still have access to your systems, users and alerts until October 1, 2024. After October 1, 2024, you will no longer have access to your systems in myDW 1.0.
After October 1, 2024, myDW 1.0 will be considered EOL. You will not have access to your systems, users, or alerts, and you will need to register for a new account in myDW 2.0.

Once you register with myDW™ 2.0, add your systems and create new notifications and alert rules, you will be able to receive notifications for your systems again.
If you need help with registration, please contact myDWsupport@digital-watchdog.com.
myDW 1.0 will be obsolete as of October 1, 2024; you will no longer have access to those systems after the EOL date.
We recommend adding any new systems to myDW 2.0
Yes! Contact myDWsupport@digital-watchdog.com for assistance to get your data via a secure method. We will provide a CSV file containing IP addresses and system names. Please note you will not be able to import this file into myDW™ 2.0. myDW™ 2.0 is a completely redesigned platform and will require installers to add all their systems from scratch.
You may delete your data before the EOL date of October 1, 2024. After October 1, 2024, data will be automatically deleted. DW will not retain access to your data and will not be able to access it.
myDW™ 1.0 will become EOL (end of life) on October 1, 2024. This means that all accounts, systems, and users will be deactivated, and all encrypted information will be deleted. Support for myDW™ 1.0 will no longer be available after October 1, 2024.
Once myDW™ 2.0 is launched and you receive your invitation to register with the new platform, you will need to re-create your accounts, systems, reports and alerts.
Unfortunately, once myDW™ 1.0 is EOL, you will no longer have access to your systems through myDW 1.0.
However, you may access your systems through myDW 2.0 after registration. You will need to re-add your systems on myDW™ 2.0. They will not migrate automatically.
myDW™ 2.0 Beta is ETA October 1st 2024 – by invitation only.
myDW.cloud and beta.mydw.cloud both redirect to myDW™ 2.0. You will need a new myDW™ 2.0 account to log in.
